General Information
Each piece of Delighted Designs jewelry is hand-crafted with the finest Swarovski crystals, Swarovski pearls and semi-precious stones. Each piece is to be enjoyed each and every day. In efforts to ensure each piece of Delighted Designs hand-crafted jewelry lasts for years to come, a recommended care regiment is listed below for your reference.
Swarovski Crystal and Pearl Care
Each piece can be polished with a soft lint-free cloth. If your jewelry is very dirty, gently clean your jewelry using warm water, a mild dish detergent and a soft bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water prior to drying with a soft lint-free cloth. Please note: Do not wash the Swarovski pearls. These should be buffed with a soft dry cloth.
It is recommended to put your Swarovski jewelry on after applying perfume, hand cream or hair spray. Never wear your jewelry in the bath, in bed, doing dishes or when exercising. Store your jewelry in the soft pouch or air-tight plastic bag to prevent scratching. Chains and necklaces will retain their shine and glitter best if they are hung up when not being worn. Do not store your Swarovski jewelry in areas of excessive heat or sun exposure.
Sterling Silver Care
To clean your sterling silver jewelry, use a clean 100% cotton or a special sterling silver cleaning cloth or very soft bristle brush, like a babies tooth brush or a horsehair silver brush.
Storing sterling silver jewelry in the open air and humidity for extended periods of time can cause it to tarnish quickly. To keep tarnish to a minimum it is advised that you store your jewelry pieces when not wearing them. Storing your sterling silver pieces in an air-tight protective bag made of tarnish proof cloth or a plastic zip lock bag can help reduce tarnish and keep your jewelry looking it's best. Avoid storing your sterling silver with certain objects, like pennies and rubber, these too cause tarnish and damage.

Alyssa Light's love for design was born at a very young age. She grew up in her parent's stoneware pottery studio witnessing the joy of creating hand-crafted one-of-a-kind pieces. Alyssa has always enjoyed expressing her creativity and began designing and creating jewelry in 2005.

Each piece Alyssa designs is hand-crafted and designed with the idea that it is completing the perfect outfit, whether for a formal affair or lunch with friends. Alyssa's love for classic, sophisticated pieces with a touch of flair is revealed with each piece of jewelry she crafts.
Alyssa currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, Jason, and their dog, Emma.
